WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO THINK LIKE JESUS ?
Every thought Jesus ever entertained, every attitude He ever embraced, and every desire He ever pursued was in accordance with His Heavenly Father's will. His will is found in God's Word: The Bible. As we prayerfully study God's Word and yield ourselves to God, the Holy Spirit begins to conform our thoughts, attitudes and desires into those of our Savior. We want to think like Jesus.

LIVE LIKE JESUS?
Not only did Jesus think in accordance with God's Word but He also lived it out in His daily walk. He loved the least, the last and the lost. He modeled love, humility, sacrificial service and obedience to God's moral will. As followers of Christ, we strive, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to live lives that reflect the same love, humility, sacrifice and obedience of our Savior. We want to live like Jesus.

When one thinks and lives the way Jesus did then one experiences what Jesus experienced, namely, the fruit of the Spirit. As we direct our thoughts and actions towards God, the Holy Spirit of God produces in the believer the experience of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We want to be like Jesus.
